Diasporanomics helps local and national government, humanitarian agencies, financial institutions and researchers understand how financial systems shape refugee and migrant lives and turns that understanding into policy, services and practice that actually work on the ground. We combine applied research, frontline delivery experience and lived insight. That combination is deliberate: most work in this space is written either by people who've never sat across the table from someone navigating a new financial system, or by people with the frontline experience but no route to influence policy. We do both.

• We produce evidence that's built to be used, not shelved. This includes country case studies and comparative research on diaspora engagement and financial inclusion, policy-facing risk and exposure modelling, and technical briefings for government and financial-sector audiences.

       Policy & Technical Advisory

• We advise public bodies and international organisations on migration policy design and implementation  from national strategy down to territorial roll-out. This includes technical assistance for translating national migration agendas into local action, and advisory support through pilot phases with local government partners.

       Data, Modelling & Risk Analysis 

• We build policy-facing analytical tools that estimate risk and exposure where the evidence base is thin, a common problem in this field. Our modelling work is designed for government use, built to withstand independent methodological scrutiny, and documented so assumptions and limitations are always visible to the people relying on it.

        Financial Inclusion Design

• We co-design financial resilience and integration programmes with delivery partners, drawing on real precedent from the sector rather than starting from a blank page. This spans concept development, programme design, and technical partnership through delivery.

      ​Training & Capacity Building​

• We deliver practical training and accompaniment for local government and frontline teams working on migration and financial inclusion, including methodological toolkits and lessons-learned documentation designed for replication across contexts.
